Katy’s Teas grew, quite literally, out of my garden, a hobby I undertook, like many others, in the summer of 2020. As my herb beds, and my inventory of medicinal plants, expanded season after season, I found I had more herbs than I could possibly use, and I ran out of family and friends to whom I could gift teas and other herbal concoctions! I also found that the teas made from recently-harvested herbs were more delicious than any I’d ever consumed, even from expensive store-bought teas. I discovered flavors I simply had never tasted. This propelled my passion to mix new tea blends and to bring herbs to my larger community in ways that might be new to you, as well.
